Description
The Alouatta Guesthouse is a private two-story residence within the Casa Alouatta estate in the heart of Las Catalinas. Designed for comfort and privacy, it offers beautiful ocean views and a separate entrance while remaining connected to the shared outdoor living areas of the property.
The guesthouse features two mirrored queen bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, large open showers, and handcrafted concrete sinks. Both bedrooms open onto a lower terrace with direct access to the outdoor areas, including stairs leading toward the yoga deck and nearby beach trails.
The main living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with a large island (seating six), two bistro tables on the covered terrace, and a comfortable open-concept living room with a Queen BoConcept sofa bed, allowing accommodation for up to two additional guests.
A private laundry room with washer and dryer is located just outside the bedrooms for convenience.
The home is fully air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, high-speed Wi-Fi, and Sonos sound systems in the main living area, outdoor pergola, and yoga deck, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living and entertainment.
Guests have access to the shared outdoor areas of the Casa Alouatta estate, including the swimming pool, barbecue area, pergola, and lounge spaces. These areas are shared with the owners who reside in the adjacent main house.

Guests may also enjoy access to the Las Catalinas Beach Club, featuring pools, restaurant, bar, and fitness facilities, with the following daily entry fees:
Child Pass (8–12): $15 + VAT (includes $10 credit)

Non-Member Pass: $30 + VAT (includes $15 credit, reservation required)
Swim & Gym Pass: $20 + VAT (7–10 am access)

Las Catalinas is a walkable, car-free coastal town surrounded by nature, beaches, and tropical dry forest.
The town center, with restaurants, cafés, shops, and plazas, is approximately a 10-minute walk (around 700 m) from the guesthouse. The local gourmet grocery store, Copper & Stone, is located about 500 m away.
There is no dedicated parking at the property itself. However, guests may briefly access the house by car for loading and unloading luggage or groceries. After that, one vehicle can be parked free of charge at the Las Catalinas public parking area, approximately 750 m away.

The location is a prefect walking location to great food. check in was good, Michelle was kind and patient with us, we had issues with the car rental and didn't get checked in until late evening. Las Catalinas is truly wonderful. I was so happy to be here and hope to be blessed to make it back.

I wish I had counted how many times my family and I mentioned that this was the best vacation ever. We said it a lot. This particular property let us live in seclusion, yet only a short walk from the town. The attention to detail provided the ultisee more
I wish I had counted how many times my family and I mentioned that this was the best vacation ever. We said it a lot. This particular property let us live in seclusion, yet only a short walk from the town. The attention to detail provided the ultimate comfort for our getaway that ended way too soon. We sat in our private pool and watched the sunset infront of our eyes every evening. We had monkeys walking down the trail in front of us, and entertain us with their swinging interactions. The town nearby had amazing food, the coolest gym I've ever seen, shopping and the some of the greatest coffee on earth. Our excursion was extra special, and Goose was the best guide we could ever ask for. I cannot wait to return.

I especially liked the kitchen. Great pots, pans and knives. Also a gas stove. We would definitely recommend this house, just don’t come when we want to be there next year!!! |

Casa Olas is a stunning 3-bedroom ocean-view house in the heart of Las Catalinas, designed for guests who want privacy, comfort, and uninterrupted views of the Pacific. Named after the constant sound of the waves surrounding the home, this property offers a truly immersive coastal experience.
Set on a quiet, no-through-traffic hillside lane, Casa Olas offers privacy and sweeping ocean and sunset views, while still being just a short walk from the beach, Beach Club, restaurants, shops, and town plazas. Large glass doors and multiple west-facing terraces allow natural light, ocean breezes, and sunsets to become part of everyday living.
The Space
Casa Olas is a two-story house designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows directly onto a spacious ocean-view terrace featuring a private plunge pool.
The home is fully air-conditioned and equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout.

Location & Lifestyle
From the house, it is an easy walk through pedestrian-friendly streets to Playa Danta, the Beach Club, restaurants, cafés, shops, and scenic plazas. Las Catalinas is a fully walkable, car-free coastal town with 24-hour security, designed for a relaxed and active lifestyle surrounded by nature.
For shorter stays, a car is generally not necessary within Las Catalinas. For longer stays or families planning to explore the wider area, we recommend renting a car, as it provides greater flexibility and makes it easier to access larger supermarkets and amenities outside the community.
