Enjoy your vacation in our particularly exclusive house Casa Guitarra. The house has only recently been completed and therefore meets the latest standards. It has an extraordinary residential floor plan and an even more exceptional pool. This courtyard-style house separates the common areas on one side from the private bedroom areas on the other. The private pool, which is surrounded by the garden in the middle of the house, has the shape of a guitar.
This contemporary house with a minimalist vibe in Potrero has 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and can accommodate 8 people. It provides Wi-Fi and air conditioning in all areas.
All the bedrooms have glass walls with sliding doors which open onto the beautiful landscaped tropical yard surrounding the gorgeous, guitar swimming pool and an unbelievably elegant surfboard outdoor shower.
Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen in European style or let yourself be pampered by a chef. The spacious, connected, open-concept living area makes it easy to prepare meals and still be with the rest of your party.
The large TV in the sitting area invites you to a relaxing movie night. The sliding doors in the living room lead to the covered terrace with a hanging swing and barbecue.
Rinse the sand off the beach in the modern outdoor shower and jump into the beautiful pool for a refreshing swim. The garden is the heart of the property and invites you to relax and linger.
The house is only about 500 m walk from the beach. At the entrance to the beach there is a beach club with a pool area. The nearest supermarket (MerKdo) is just around the corner and several restaurants and cafes are also within walking distance.

The Flamingo Marina and Playa Potrero are home to a number of Flaming fishing charters & sailing tours.
Also, the gorgeous Reserva Conchal golf course is located a 25 minutes' drive offering 18 holes on a prestigious course.
Have a rental car? Don't miss out on an evening at Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas. Best to start here at sunset with epic ocean views and then enjoy a wonderful dinner with stunning views of the ocean and mountains.
One of the world's most famous surfing beaches Playa Grande is only 15 minutes by car and Tamarindo beach is located about 30 mins. These surf towns offer surf breaks for beginner to intermediate. Tamarindo surf is most famous from the famous Endless Summer surf movie and is a popular destination.
The bustling surf town of Tamarindo Beach also offers a variety of shopping, surf shops, international restaurants, and nightspots. We recommend a rental car for this area to get around with ease.

This home was perfect for our family! 5 adults a toddler and an infant. We had a great time enjoying the pool & the beach (recommend renting a golf cart through them, it got us everywhere we needed to go) the house was comfortable and had everything see more

The backyard was a little slice of paradise & the swing a big hit for my kids. Teresita and the whole team were great from the day we booked all the way through our departure. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this beautiful home. The accommodations were top-notch with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay away from home. The owner really did think of everything, even providing very nice tsee more
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this beautiful home. The accommodations were top-notch with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay away from home. The owner really did think of everything, even providing very nice towels for the pool, different towels and mats for the beach, beach chairs, ice chest, pool toys, etc. The location of home was only a block away from the beach and, although we rented a golf cart for our teens, it was not at all necessary since the beach entrance was so close and the owner provided a wagon to put the beach stuff into. Additionally, the next street over has a full grocery store, lots of restaurants (including some on the beach), and a souvenir shop. The beach was nice, but I recommend visiting some of the other beaches in the area. I was surprised at how different the beaches are, even though they were so close to each other, with lighter sand and some with big waves. We had the best time and I would definitely stay at Casa Guitarra again.

Our stay at Casa Guitarra was amazing! The location is perfect for day trips up and down the coast to other beachestowns. It's a short walk to a quiet beach that was perfect for the kids (ages 8 & 14) to play and bodysurf. We had 5 adults and 3 childsee more

It's a short walk to a quiet beach that was perfect for the kids (ages 8 & 14) to play and bodysurf. We had 5 adults and 3 children (including a toddler) in our group. The house accommodated all of us comfortably and having our own private pool was incredible. There are a variety of restaurants and markets within easy walking distance. This was a wonderful place for a family vacation. We can't wait to return!

Relax! That's what I did at Casa Guitarra! It was so easy. Casa Guitarra has all the comforts of home - albeit a much more modern home than my own - where it's like staying in a 4-star hotel without the noisy neighbors. The walls of glass and sliding doors allow for enjoyment of the trees, birds and butterflies while relaxing in the air conditioning.
We swam in the pool, read books, watched movies, did a puzzle, played games and grilled. We walked 3 mins to the beach each morning to stroll and take in the beauty of the rich coast. We went back for the sunset every night. We had amazing food at the open air restaurants, often accompanied by live music. We went shopping, zip lining and boogie boarding. Everything was easily accessible from the house. We achieved what the locals call Pura Vida! Thanks, Casa Guitarra! I needed an easy vacation!! |

Casa Guitarra is a great place to stay while exploring Costa Rica. It is 3 minutes from the beach, and very centrally located to restaurants, a grocery store, and produce stands. We explored many beaches up and down the pacific side, did some zip lining, ate some great food, and just had a wonderful time.
The home is beautiful! Extremely clean, nice quality towels and sheets, a kitchen that is very well stocked, a beautiful pool, an area to exercise with weightsenjoy yoga with mats included. Our family of six enjoyed this awesome 4 bedroom/4 bath home and I personally hope to return one day. The air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable while in the home. The property management company was wonderful to work with, and were very helpful with answering any questions we might have had from first making our reservation to the end of our stay. The home was serviced twice in our two week stay with complete maid service, grounds keeper and pool maintanence. Thank you Casa Guitarra and Tropical Homes of Costa Rica! You definitely made our first visit to your beautiful country very enjoyable! |

Great House to be in, especially if you are a guitar fan! We were here for 18 days and we had a great time. The house is beautiful with lots of room. We were a family of 4 ( 2 adults & 2 teens). Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The rentalsee more
Great House to be in, especially if you are a guitar fan! We were here for 18 days and we had a great time. The house is beautiful with lots of room. We were a family of 4 ( 2 adults & 2 teens). Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The rental agency had a great on site service. Pool Guys, Cleaning staff and Gardener all came weekly.
The house comes stock with the stuff you need : Coffee, olive oil, balsam vinegar and so on. They went further providing ziplocs, flashlights, pool chairs and a buggy to carry them to the beach. Card games Baggamon and chess boards were also availbale. The pool is awesome in the way its made with jets and a bench in the shallow part. The swing on the patio is the perfect place to read and relax. The open kitchen is great for people who love to cook and the rooms are cozy with their private bathrooms. We did not use much of the living room but the sofa is comfortable enough to fall asleep on after a day at the beach or a night at the Shack. Lovely restaurants around,5 minute walk to the sunset everynight and the groceries just around the corner. Local butcher shop by the BBQ Smoke House on 911 has fresh chicken and ground beef at a decent price. The house is also a member of the sailing club which gives a discount at Hemmingway's and other nice perks. We did not rent a car for our stay here, walked everything and took a taxi to go to PriceSmart by the airport. |

The week we stayed in Casa Guitarra couldn't have been better! Everything was clean and well maintained, with some very cool amenities… double shower, guitar pool, monkeys and iguanas for neighbors, to name a few!! There were 8 of us and it never felsee more

Everything was clean and well maintained, with some very cool amenities… double shower, guitar pool, monkeys and iguanas for neighbors, to name a few!! There were 8 of us and it never felt crowded. The temperatures were around 90 everyday and into the 80s right up until bedtime but between the pool, an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and good air conditioning (customizable to each room), we were never uncomfortable!
Casa Guitarra meets every basic (and luxurious) need, so you can relax & enjoy yourself right there. The grocery store is just a stones throw, and most every kind of food establishment is within a couple minutes’ walk, even live music somewhere most nights, so as awesome as staying in is, going out is hard to resist! Already planning my next stay! |

The queen and twin rooms share the third indoor bathroom, while all four bedrooms offer a/c, new mattresses and ample closet space with stunning Costa Rican teak doors. You'll also find an outdoor half bath, shower, and foot tap. You can wash and dry your clothes in no time with the large washer and dryer units, and then relax by the pool without a care.
No need for a car to explore Surfside, but if you have one, you can park it safely behind the casa's remote-controlled gates. There is enough space for two cars and a golf cart.
Casa Marzo is ideally situated for discovering the region’s many beautiful beaches. Just around the corner lies Playa Potrero, known for its calm waters and relaxed beach bars. For those who enjoy a scenic stroll, the white sands of Playa Penca and Playa Flamingo are also within walking distance. A short drive north will take you to the picturesque shores of Playas Azúcar, Prieta, Danta, and Dantita.
Heading south, you’ll find Playa Tamarindo—famous for its lively nightlife and gentle waves, perfect for beginner surfers. While Playa Grande’s expansive, captivating coastline awaits experienced surfers seeking the perfect ride.
